This is my personal Dedication to turn 2024 into a year that I proactively train, experiment, & play what I’ve nicknamed The Jesus Games in my daily life:  

1. Pray for at least 10 friends every day and record the results & lessons.  

2. Create 31 topics for the days of the month and practically apply the topic to that day. Topics around experimenting with Prayer, Fasting, Humility, Serving, & Biblical & Spiritual Curiosity.   

3. Journal a short note for the day.  

4. Create a 1-minute daily video diary documenting my curiosity, experiments, results, & experiences. The post the video into a playlist.  

5. Ask my friends to share their discoveries as well.    

I’ve edited Abraham Lincoln’s 1863 proclamation Appointing a Day of National Humiliation, Fasting, and Prayer and adapted it to 2024. That day started an invisible momentum that completely flipped the civil war in 1863. Im also discovering George Washington & William Wilberforce also lived spectacular lives partnering & experimenting with God.    

Here is my adaption of Abraham Lincoln’s proclamation:  

“I devoutly recognize the Supreme Authority and just Government of Almighty God, in all the affairs of men and of nations. So, I am dedicating 2024 to be a year set apart for prayer, fasting, curiosity, serving, & humiliation before our Holy God. 

Since the ancient rebellion in Heaven, a demonic kingdom has opposed the Almighty God. Today, that ancient war has focused on the destruction of humans that have been created in the image of the King of Heaven. We are witnessing a blatant corruption of truth. These evil spirits have gained influence over individuals, groups, schools, businesses, political camps, and nations. Creating the illusion that our problems are too big. That our divisions are with other individuals, that our birth-based characteristics are a problem, we must choose between left or right, or claiming Holy God is actually the problem. When in reality, these ancient spirits have convinced us to choose between demon A, or demon B.  

The confusion and destruction caused by these evil spirits has a long history, but we also have a long history of victories & heroes that have neutralized evil’s power. Jesus said evil can be arrested with prayer. It would make sense that evil would create confusion regarding our given superpower we have over evil: Prayer.  

Since it is the duty of nations, as well as individuals, to take responsibility to pray, to own our dependence upon the overruling power of God, to confess our sins and transgressions, in humble sorrow, yet with assured hope that genuine repentance will lead to mercy and pardon; and to research & recognize the highest truths, announced in the Holy Scriptures and proven by all history, that those individuals & nations are only blessed, whose God is the Lord.  

We know that, by His divine law, nations, like individuals are subjected to punishments and chastisements in this world. May our humility & alignment with our Holy God reverse the saturation of destructive, perverted, & confusing events happening in our world, nation, communities, and families today. That this punishment, inflicted upon us, for our presumptuous sins, would not be an essential end of our 248 year national experiment as a whole People.  

We have been the recipients of the choicest bounties of Heaven. We have been preserved, these many years, in peace and prosperity. We have grown in numbers, wealth, technology, and power, as no other nation has ever grown. But we have forgotten God. We have forgotten the gracious hand which preserved us in peace, and multiplied and enriched and strengthened us; and we have vainly imagined, in the deceitfulness of our hearts, that all these blessings were produced by some superior wisdom, hard work, grit, and virtue of our own. Intoxicated with unbroken success, we have become too self-sufficient to feel the necessity of redeeming and preserving grace. Too proud to pray to the God that made us.  

It’s necessary for us then, to humble ourselves before our offended God, to confess our individual & national sins, and to pray for mercy and forgiveness. 

Now, being prompted by our Holy God and friends, I dedicate and set apart 2024, as a year of daily, individual & community humiliation, fasting, prayer, serving, & rekindling the curiosity to investigate & question the strange as well as the basic principles of scriptures and learn how they apply these to our practical daily lives.  

Also, on the first day of each month, abstaining from my ordinary work, entertainment, meals, and to unite with others, at places of public worship and within homes, in keeping the day holy to the Lord, and devoted to the humble focus proper to this solemn occasion. 

All this being done, in sincerity and truth, let us then rest humbly in the hope authorized by the Divine teachings, that the united cry of the those on the side of God will be heard on high, and answered with blessings, guidance, & protection. A revelation that there are more arch angels with us, than demons that are against us.    

Also, the pardon of our corporate & personal sins, and the restoration of our now divided and suffering families, communities, & nations, to their former happy condition of Holy birthright, unity and peace, as people only described & defined as the children of God.
